You're pretending you deserve what you have.

People would rather feel rich rather than actually get rich.

People would rather feel like they worked hard and earned their keep rather than actually do the kinds of hard work needed.

We'd rather face the pain we know rather than struggle to a better destination.

We'd rather pay the price of familiarity rather than the small cost of change.

Men, you’ll never be that attractive, but it may not matter.

..."In fact, some evolutionary psychologists have argued that throughout human history, dominance has been more important than attractiveness for men’s mating success."...

So this attractive notion the West has created, men have bought into the lie...
The aim isn't to be attractive (although it's not discouraged) it's to show dominance, give the impression or perception (not necessarily actual dominance)
Let's call it 'signaling'.

Do as I say, but I won't do it myself.

We cannot hold a trouch to light another's path without brightening our own - Ben Sweetland

How many of us tell people what they should be doing when we don't do it ourselves... It's like saying 'use my light to see' but there's no light for either of you and you both go astray.

Get your own shit in order before trying to order others.

People should be more like 'me'

Do you think everyone should be more like you?

If you said no, why do we then project how everyone should be all the time?

You could be PC while not being 'PC'

When we talk about ‘boys do this’ and ‘girls are like that’ the PC police come in – and they’re right, but there’s some truth behind clichés and stereotypes sometimes… I think I’ve figured it out.

I think of evolution – Darwinism – we are how we are for a survival advantage. So some things exist because it does or at least it did have a good reason to exist. I think a lot of stereotypes or labels we put on genres, cultures, sexes ect are the ‘default’ almost the pre-set of your DNA – but the beauty of the human race is we can go against the default responses, we can choose to be different to what we ‘are’ or our natural responses, we are not fixed – but that means work, and many will take the path of least resistance which is ironically evolutionary to a degree.

Girls are self-conscious about beauty which would have had evolutionary reasons of being able to pick the best mates with the best genes to survive, and the ones who didn’t, their genes may have died off, but not all girls today are self-conscious about beauty, whether by design or by instinct because arguably the evolutionary reason isn’t important for survival anymore. That doesn’t mean the default setting switches off for most though…. Not in our life time’s anyway.

Armchair Critics

It's easy to give criticism, much harder to give solutions that actually work.

Why girls like men with money and it's not the reason you think

Why do many girls like men money?

On the surface this seems like a stupid question...  But really think about it,  why? Well because they want nice things probably,  what about freedom? Most likely, security? For sure.

If you subscribe to the theory of everything revolves around survival and legacy,  then a partner with money can provide both.  A large part of seeking out a mate is getting the feeling of being safe and secure, to feel like your survival is not under threat,  in other words "if you have money, I feel safe with you". You keep seeing the stat that women enjoy sex more with a man who is rich. Well when your not anxious or stressed about tomorrow's survival, it helps you focus on enjoying yourself.

Controlling Mind Games

Normal people doing their best and making normal mistakes.
It's said that modern education and learning techniques discourage and punish mistakes,  so we instinctively avid things that we might get wrong...

Ever had that person in your life that is always on your back or criticising you? No matter how much you do right,  they'll make a big deal about that one tiny mistake.

Is there a chance they don't want us to get it right? They aren't over critical,  they are looking for your flaws and failures,  they could be deliberately setting you up for failure...  We all want to be praised and accepted so often we work harder to please the person who cannot be pleased. Maybe we should ask ourselves what these people's motives are...  And if it's not about the spirit of or the ethic of,  then chances are its not the mistakes that are the problem...  To them, you are the problem!

They are the one with the problem,  not you. Its their problem, not yours and don't let it be, don't let yourself play their games...  Stop trying to get it right for them,  because in their eyes you probably never will.
